What is this site? KISS MUSIC SEARCH is a web site built using netsoundsmusic.com's Affiliate Web Services API. Basically, netsoundsmusic.com are providing the data via XML, and this site is presenting it in a new way. The site design is a bit plain! That's intentional, the site is laid out to be simple and efficient. Sometimes shopping at netsoundsmusic.com can often be anything but simple or efficient, especially if you are using a non-pc client (for example a pocket pc, smartphone, or web tv). This site uses netsoundsmusic.com's search, browse, and shopping list capabilities and returns the information in a simple fashion. Hopefully the end result is a faster, cleaner music search experience. How is this all done? Through their Web Services API, netsoundsmusic.com have opened up their database via XML over HTTP (REST). Our site is implemented using perl, in particular the LWP::Simple and XML::Dom modules. Shopping List. When you add an item to your shopping list, you are simply storing it on our web site. Adding an item is simple, fast and non-committal - it's just a shopping list, not a shopping basket! When you are done searching or browsing, you can go to the "MANAGE SHOPPING LIST" page where you can do any of the following: review the items that you've previously added remove items that you no longer wish to store in your shopping list checkout by transfering your shopping list contents to the checkout facility at netsoundsmusic.com where you can purchase the items
